BUFFALO FOX & HOUND CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

On behalf of Buffalo High School, we are extending an invitation for your school to be part of our meet on September 19th. The meet site is at Valley Park in Hurricane. This is a challenging course with a combination of grass and park trails. The course is very spectator friendly. The high school course covers 5,000 meters and the middle school course will be 3,000 meters. There will be an admission fee for spectators ($5.00). There will be an area to set up tents. In case of inclement weather, there are several shelters that spectators can get in at different parts of the course. Parking will be restricted to the large parking area in front of the pool. There are restrooms at three different locations at the park. There are no shower facilities. T-shirts and concessions will be available. The awards ceremony will be in the large shelter at the start/finish area. There will not be an elementary race this year, due to shelters being reserved for the afternoon. High school and middle school races have been moved up ½ an hour.

Race Schedule:

Course Tour: 7:00-8:00 a.m.

High School Girls: 8:00 a.m.

High School Boys: 8:45 a.m.

High School Awards: 9:30 a.m.

Middle School Girls: 10:00 a.m.

Middle School Boys: 10:30 a.m.

Middle School Awards: Immediately after the finish of the Middle School race

Awards:

Individual High School: Medals to top 10

Individual Middle School: Medals to top 10

Team Plaques High School: 1st – 2nd

Team Plaques Middle Schools: 1st – 2nd

Entry Information:

YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE. Go to www.timetoenter.com to register. Entry fees for our meet are $35 for each team per high school (if both a boys' and girls' team, then $70) and $30 for each team per middle school (if both a boys' and girls' team, then $60). There will be an $8 per runner fee for all other individuals. Please make checks payable to: Buffalo High School and mail to: Buffalo High School /3680 Buffalo Road/ Buffalo, WV 25033. Attention Jeff Pitchford. The deadline for entry applications and fees is Monday, September 14th, 2015. No entries after the deadline and no refunds.
