2015 Charles Pointe - Indian Run Invitational

The Charles Pointe - Indian Run Invitational has grown in size from last year.  While that is a wonderful thing, it does present some additional challenges.  The three primary areas of concern are restrooms, parking and t-shirts.

Restrooms

1. We will be procuring additional Port-A-Johns to assist with the larger number of athletes and spectators.  

2. We believe that the Recreation Complex will open additional restrooms at the baseball field house.

Parking

1. We will be providing bus shuttle service from the parking lots at Bridgeport Middle School, Bridgeport High School, Johnson Elementary and Wayne Jamison Field to the Bridgeport Recreation Complex all day.  The administration plans to sell tickets to spectators boarding the bus at the school and drop them at the top of the hill inside the complex.  This will allow fans to avoid long ticket lines at the Complex.  Coaches, please inform your parents that this service will be available.

2. Team Buses will unload athletes behind the concession stand and then be instructed on the location of off-site parking.  They will return to collect their team when instructed/phoned by their coach.

T-Shirts

1. We have doubled the number of t-shirts ordered last year.

2. The shirts will primarily be small and mediums.  If you need a larger size, get there early as there will only be a limited number of large and extra large.

Athlete entry will be done using RaceTimeEntry.com.  Please have your athletes entered by Monday August 24th at 3:00pm

Finally, our Adult/Open 5K XC Race is a great opportunity for you or your parents to show your athletes you can still run like the wind.  You can register on the day of the meet for only $15.00.
