The Beckley Invitational has grown this year, and we are ready for it! The course is in great shape, and spectators will have a view of nearly the entire race. Please read the info below carefully, and share with your parents and student athletes.
Registration for the Beckley Invitational is now closed. Payment will be accepted at the Registration tables, where you may pickup your race bibs. Signs will be clearly posted.
DIRECTIONS (note changes):
If you are traveling I-77 to the meet, please see the following:
DUE TO CONSTRUCTION on I-64 bride at Exit # 124, the East bound Exit ramp is closed, but the West bound Exit ramp is open.
Please proceed East past this Exit to Exit # 125-B, (not #125-A ). Please exit, and then reenter I-64 traveling West. Travel to Exit # 124. This detour will only take approx 5 min.
After you exit I-64, travel approx 1.3 miles to where you turn Left (you will go thru 2 stop lights.) After you go thru the 2nd stop light, move to the LEFT LANE. As you top the hill, please turn Left (Crook Brothers on the Corner, travel to soccer field you've gone to far). (From this point, you are only 800 meters from the meet location). (Pinecrest #3 will be closed. There is no back entrance.)
Travel forward through the Stop sign, then the road bends right onto Ned Payne Drive. (straight would take you to the DMV) Continue Forward and you will be directed to the parking locations/athlete drop off.
BUSES: buses will be directed to park along this road after dropping off athletes. They may circle back after the meet to pickup athletes, or athletes may walk along the sidewalks to board. This road will be closed for our event.

NOTE: You can experience heavy traffic when traveling through Beckley on Eisenhower drive during the afternoon hours. I recommend taking I-77 to I-64, to avoid delays. The detour is very simple and adds very little time to your commute.
CAUTION: There is no parking at Beckley Stratton Middle & Beckley Elementary. This will be strictly enforced. There is construction at BEST, and we have been instructed that there should be no spectator or vehicle traffic on their property adjacent the building or asphalt areas. Yellow tape will be marking areas off limit. Please respect this boundary so we can continue to have the support of the hosting schools.
BATHROOMS: 2 locations...we will have porta-johns near the Tent city, and we have bathrooms at the rear of Beckley Elementary near the Start of the race.
