16th Annual Wild and Wet
Invitational

The Cameron High School
Cross-Country team invites you to participate in the Wild and Wet
Invitational. So named because of the
four water crossings and several log jumps.
This course is very spectator friendly with at least two miles of the
race visible from one point. Coaches
will be able to monitor their athletes without restriction. There will be an open race, junior high race,
and varsity race. There will be no
reserve race. NOTE: We have changed the varsity races to run
prior to middle school races.

DEADLINE: Entries are due October 7, 2014. Checks payable to: CAMERON CROSS COUNTRY PARENTS/mail checks to

Course: It is flat with four stream
crossings. There are two sections which
are fairly steep after crossing the creek.
The approximate one-mile section in the woods (an old logging road,
which has been groomed) is from 100M to 200M above the creek on a bench. The woods are mostly flat or downhill.
Scoring: Computerized scoring—top 5 will count for
team score. Individuals will be removed for team
scoring.
Entry Fee: $30 per team ($60 per school), $5 per individual (if
under 5) and $1 for each jr. high or middle school runner. Checks payable to CAMERON CROSS COUNTRY
PARENTS/mail checks to 15 Pleasant Drive, Cameron, WV 26033 . Please register your entry by October 7, 2014.
Concession: Food and drinks will be available near the
Start - Finish area.
T-Shirts
will be sold near the finish line area.
Sanctioned: West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Admission Fee: All spectators over 12 years old--$5.00
