Regional Meet

In the Regional Meet, you may enter up to 10 runners, but can run only 7 maximum at the regional race.   Five runners must start the race, but are not required to finish the race, to have a complete team.

Per the Interscholastic Entries must be done using "RaceTimeEntry.com" www.racetimeentry.com . Mailed or faxed entries will not be permitted!   Please make sure that the names of the athletes that you enter are on your eligibility certificate and that they are spelled correctly.

Qualifying for the State Meet:

To qualify as an individual: Each region will qualify 20% of the number of contestants that start the regional race to the state meet inclusive of those individuals that qualified as a team qualifier, with a minimum of 10 individuals qualifying from each region. Regular math rounding (.5 & up, round up, below .5, round down) will apply.

To qualify as a team: This depends on how many complete teams (5 or more runners) start in your regional.

1 – 5 teams entered – 2 qualify

6 – 9 teams entered – 3 qualify

10 & above entered – 4 qualify

 * 5 team members must start the race to qualify as a team entry

Spectator Admission Fee

The WVSSAC requires a spectator admission fee of $6 per adult, $5 per student.

Concessions and t-shirts will be available.
