The 2014 Flying Eagles Invitational @ RCB

Welcome to the inaugural Flying Eagles Invitation. This challenging course will also be used for the 2014 Big Ten Cross-Country Championship. All schools are welcome, especially Big Ten schools that want the vital experience. This new course promises to be challenging and very viewer friendly. The race will start on the Football Field and end in the practice field behind the Away bleachers. Spectators will be able to sit on bleachers to view the race. If you go to the top of the Home bleachers with a pair of binoculars, it is possible to see 80% or more of the race. The top of the Away bleachers will be great to view the finish. Course is mostly open field running.

Where- Robert C. Byrd High School

When- Tuesday, September 09, 2014 @ 5 pm, starting with the girls. Boys will run @ approximately 5:45. Course will open @ 3:30. Coaches meeting will be held @ 4:30 @ ticket booth by the track.

Fee- $100 for boys and girls team, $50 for boys only or girls only team.

At Robert C. Byrd, we can relate to small teams, because we are a small team. If you do not have a full team, we will take individual entries @ $5 a runner.

Spectator Fee- $3 dollars per adult, $2 dollars per 12 and under

Awards- Trophies will be given to the top ten girls and boys. Team trophies will be presented depending on how many teams compete.

Concussions and T-Shirts- Will be sold during the race.
