University's Amelia Paladino, to no one's surprise, was named West Virginia's Gatorade XC Runner of the Year. Paladino won the State Meet, finished 2nd at Footlocker South (with the best ever time and place for a WV female at that meet), and concluded her season with an All-American 11th Place finish at Footlocker Nationals, again the highest ever finish for a West Virginia female.
