The WVSSAC Board of Directors has passed the Cross Country Coaches' Recommendation that was sent to them.
Beginning in 2014, the number of individuals that will advance from each Regional Race will advance 20% of individuals that start the race, with a minimum of 10. This means that Regions that have more competitors will advance a proportional number of individuals. If your Region starts 90 runners, 18 individual will advance. If your Region starts 60 runners, 12 will advance.
There will be 45 minutes between the start of each race.
It will also be STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that regular season meets will follow the order of competition of the State Meet.
The 2014 Regional Sites will be as follows:
Region I AAA - Preston
Region II AAA - Musselman
Region III AAA - Greenbrier East
Region IV AAA - Hurricane
Region I A-AA - Doddridge
Region II A-AA - Berkeley Springs
Region III A-AA - PikeView
Region IV A-AA - Charleston Catholic
