Predicted A-AA Boys Team Results
This looks like a Bridgeport runaway. They have lengthened their gap on the field on a weekly basis throughout the year. I have Fairmont Senior pretty solidly in 2nd place, but they'll have to run better than they did at their Regional to assure that podium position. I have the next three teams separated by just 9 points with Ritchie having a 6 point edge over Keyser and Keyser by 3 over Frankfort. Sherman and Philip Barbour are easily within striking distance as well. I could see any of the top 9 teams all being in contention for the top 3 spots.

Predicted Boys A-AA Top 25
Abe Merinar and Johnny Hogue have traded the top spot back and forth a couple times during the year with Merinar taking the top spot back after the Regional meets. Merinar also won both regular season meetings soundly, so he gets the top spot. In their most recent meeting at Grafton on 9/21, Merinar pulled away shortly before the 2 mile mark and stretched the lead the rest of the way. The next four spots are up for grabs. I've given the 3rd spot to Brettley Harris. He was on Hogue's heels at the LKC championships. I've put Weitzel in 4th, though there would certainly be reason to spot him 3rd as he's beaten Harris at all four meetings this season. Dearth could also lay claim to the 3rd spot as he finished on Hogue's heels at Grafton and beat Weitzel at the same meet. Hayden Harrison knocked off Harris early in the season, and I've slotted him in 6th. I feel like that group is pretty solid. I have Scott Nesland in 7th. He typically performs well at the big meets. Daniel Cooper has been strong all season and closed with good LKC and Regional performances. Glen McMillan was very close to Cooper at the LKC. Chandler Antill has run very well late in the season and was right behind Cooper at the Regional Meet. I think at least the top 17 have a very realistic shot at hitting the podium.
