West Virgnians produced some standout performances today (February 2nd) at the USATF Cross Country Nationals. In the Open Men's 12K race, Josh Simpson finished 15th with a time of 36:39.8 (4:56 per mile). That race was won by Chris Derrick with Dathan Ritzenhein coming in 2nd. In the Junior Women's 6K Race, Maggie Drazba finished 15th with a time of 22:04.3 (5:56 per mile), and Amelia Paladino finished 27th with a time of 22:52.4 (6:09 per mile). Also in that race, WVU's Sydney Scott finished 6th with a 21:11.3 (5:41 per mile). If there was anyone else, please let me know.
