2013 DODDRIDGE COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL INVITATIONAL

 

Dear Cross-County Coach,

 

            The Doddridge Bobcat Cross-Country Team would like to invite you to the 23nd annual Doddridge County Middle School Invitational.

 

When:             Tuesday, Oct. 15th, 4:00pm (Notice the new starting time for this year!)

 

Where:           The Doddridge County Park

 

Directions:      From US Route 50 take the Snowbird Road exit (Doddridge County Park) for 1.2 miles to the park entrance.

 

Awards:         The top twenty individuals in both the boys and girls varsity races will receive trophies.  The top five schools in both divisions will receive team trophies.  The first fifteen JV boy and girl finishers will be awarded medals.

 

Entry Fee:      The entry fee will be $25.00 per team or $50.00 per school.  For schools without full teams the fee will be $5.00 per runner.  Make checks payable to:  Doddridge County Middle School and send your entry fee to Greg Bonnell at Doddridge County Middle School, RR 2 Box 35, West Union, WV  26456-9508.  See the “Notes” below for how to do your entries.

 

Concessions:  Food and drinks will be available as well as the official Doddridge County Invitational tee shirts.

 

Course:           The course is a beautiful 2.05-mile, viewer friendly, rolling grass course with one challenging hill and two creek crossings.

 

Notes:             There will be 4 races this year, starting at 4:00pm:  Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, JV Girls, and JV Boys.  The day will conclude with team and individual awards at the stage area of the park.  This year we are only accepting entries via www.TimeToEnter.com.  The deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 8.  If you have questions you may e-mail Craig Kellar at coachcmk@hotmail.com or call him in the evening at 873-1594.
