Wheeling Park Fall Classic Information

Welcome to Wheeling Park High School for the Wheeling Park Fall Classic. Should you have any questions, the meet directors are Dwaine Rodgers and Jacob Galik

Schedule of events:

8:30 coaches meeting (if necessary)

9:00: Boys High School Race (both Varsity and JV combined)

9:40: Girls High School Race (both Varsity and JV combined)

10:20: High School Awards

10:20: Boys Middle School race

11:00: Girls Middle School race

Middle School awards will immediately follow the girls the race

Course: The course will start and finish at the Dick Dei Track Complex. The starting line will be in the end zone of the practice football field closest to the high jump pit. The runners will go 100 yards across the practice football field and catch the hill beyond the shot put/discus area. When you come to the top of the hill, you will go across the band field and catch the first part of the trail. After the first part of the trail, you will cross the road and catch an access road to the second part of the trail. The finish will be back across the band field, and down the same hill you came up at the start. When you come onto the track, you will go the opposite direction for 300 meters and finish close to the long jump pit. The course will be marked and have many workers on it.

- Entry Fee - $75 per high school (both boys and girls)

- $50 per middle school (both boys and girls)

- $8 for individual runner Dwaine Rodgers
