To
All Concerned Parties,
Please except this invitation to our
Region II – AAA qualifying round for both boys and girls cross-country
teams. This regional qualifying round
will be held on the campus of Davis & Elkins College at their athletic
complex in Elkins, WV. Our event date is scheduled for Thursday, October 18th,
2012. (See below for important
times)
Just as a reminder, all coaches within
this region (Buckhannon-Upshur,
Elkins, Hampshire, Hedgesville, Jefferson, Lewis County, Martinsburg, Musselman, Washington) are reminded to review the August copy of the
Interscholastic Today on the WVSSAC website of all XC rules and regulations
that will be followed for this event. Please
provide a copy of this to all coaches, and principals for their review. The remaining information will be in regards
to pre-race and race day information that all should be informed about.
Again, on behalf of the athletic
department at Elkins High School we would like to thank you for joining us at
Davis & Elkins College for the qualifying round of the Region II – AAA boys
and girls cross-country. The administration
and staff at Elkins High School wishes everyone the best of luck and safe competition
in this years’ Regional final.

school may ONLY enter 7 varsity runners and 3 alternates. All (ENTRIES MUST BE DONE ON
“TIMETOENTER”.COM). If you attended the
Forest Festival, this is the same format and this Regional meet has been added
to their site. Please send a hard copy via e-mail to our

(Admission Fee’s)
As set forth by the WVSSAC the following
admission prices will be followed:
$5.00

Adults

(A valid ONLY C&I coaches and administration card will be accepted). Upon showing this card, you will be asked to
sign a sign in sheet, (your name, school or school board you are from and the
sport you coach).
If athlete’s travel in personal vehicles,
they are asked to wear their running jersey to avoid being charged an admission
fee. Each person in your vehicle will be
charged admission unless showing their C&I card or wearing their running
jersey.
(Concessions)
Concessions will be provided by the athletic
department of Davis and Elkins College.
(Regional T-Shirts)
Regional T-shirts will be: $12.00 for
short sleeve
$15.00 for long sleeve
(Restrooms)
Restrooms will be available in Gate Towers. We do ask the runners DO NOT wear spikes
inside this building or you will be asked to remove them before entering. A very big large guy will be at door to greet
you..:)

(Parking Availability, Vehicles and
buses)
Spectators will not be charged for
parking, but you will be charged per person that is in your vehicle. After buses have unloaded they will be
directed as to where to park your bus within the parking area. Once our parking lot is full, after paying
admission you will be asked to park on the back side of Harper McNeely. There will be parking signs posted for your
convenience to this area.
(Emergency Services)
Our local EMS will be on duty along with a
certified athletic trainer before, during and after each of the races.
