2012 LKC Cross Country Meet

Doddridge County Park

 

Dear Cross-Country Coach,

 

            Doddridge County High School is pleased to host the 2012 Little Kanawha Conference Championship Meet.

 

Date:               Thursday, October 11

 

Schedule:        4:30pm            Boys' Race

                        5:15pm            Girls' Race      

                        6:15pm            Awards

 

Awards:          Custom LKC Medals for the 1st 24 finishers in each division.

                        The top 12 will make “All-Conference” and will also receive plaques at the

LKC Banquet in May. Placers 13-24 will make 2nd team All-LKC.

                         (The team championship trophies will be presented at the LKC Banquet.)

 

Course:            For the most part, we will run our regular course minus the creek crossing. 

                        Also, we will not run "Big Bertha Hill", but rather "Tree-line Hill" beside her.

                        Runners will go around the old school house on the back side to make up the

                        difference in distance.

 

Miscellaneous: 1) There will be no separate JV races. Just run all of your runners together; your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. We are asking that coaches use "Time to Enter" for their entries.  We will pull entries off of "Time to Enter" on Friday, October 5.  2) Admission ($5.00/person) will be charged for spectators at the top of the hill. See you on October 11th!
