Predicted A-AA Girls Team Results
Philip Barbour is the favorite to repeat as champion. St. Marys could give them a run if any of their front 4 has an off day or if St. Marys runs extremely well as a group. Scott could also conceivably be a factor. Their fate could hinge on the health of Lexi Griffith who is finally back from an injury but to this point has not run as well as before the injury. Shady Spring could also be a factor. Their fate is largely dependent on Nicole Hegele. Early in the season, she was running top ten caliber races, but she's struggled late in the season (injury or illness...I do not know). Ravenswood is a bit of a dark horse. If they were to all run really well, they could certainly move up. Berkeley Springs is a threat to move up as well, but they also have a couple runners that were running well early but have struggled late in the season.

Predicted A-AA Girls Top 25
Maggie Drazba and Sami Harris should have quite the duel. At the Geico Classic, Drazba took the win by 15 seconds. At Chick-Fil-A, it was Harris by 7 seconds. At Camp Virgil Tate, it was Drazba by 7 seconds. It should be fun. The battle for 3rd will likely be between Katie Jan and Katie Mahoney. Jan has been very strong all season. Mahoney missed a little time late, but doesn't seem to have lost anything in her absence. Brianna Waybright is always very steady. Sarah Phillips beat Waybright in a pair of early season meetings. Alexis Virtue has stepped up a level late in the season after a rough start. Kristen Mastrantoni has been very good all year. Marissa Long is among the most improved runners in the State. Haily Miller has knocked off Long and Waybright and Phillips (twice) over the course of the season. I could see over 20 of these girls sneaking into the top 10 on the right day.
