Predicted AAA Boys Team Results
This should be another pretty closely contested race. Cabell Midland doesn't appear to be as
dominant as they were expected to be this season. Jefferson has a shot at knocking them off.
That being said, I still have Cabell Midland winning by 10 points. For Jefferson to have a
chance, they'll need a blowout performance from their # 5, whoever that may be this meet. These
two teams look like they're well ahead of the field. I have Preston pretty solidly in 3rd with
University fairly solidly in 4th. I have Parkersburg and Winfield separated by just 1 point for
5th with Parkersburg having the edge. I have Fairmont Senior in 7th, but if their front 5 all
have good days, they could climb as high as 4th.

Predicted Boys AAA Top 25
There's no doubt that Jacob Burcham is the man to beat. Eric Graf looks like a fairly solid 2nd
place choice. Tyler Salmons always runs well at the State Meet. Peter Schwarzenberg is actually
ranked a fair amount higher than Salmons. Brody Born has a history of running really well in the
State Meet. Jordan Brown-Stobbe could easily move into the top 3. He hasn't really looked as well
in the 2nd half of the season as he did the first. Ryan Graf has continued to improve. Joseph
Kirtner is ranked higher than Graf and is a threat to move up. I feel pretty good about those 8
guys. Things get really, really muddled after that. I've given the 9th spot to Nick Trefz, who
has had an excellent season but had an unimpressive regional run. I gave the 10th spot to Matthew
Brafford who has been very solid all season long. I found it very difficult to leave several guys
out of the top 10. I think those next five guys have very legitimate shots at the top 10. After
that, it becomes a bit more of an upset.
