Predicted A-AA Boys Team Results
This will be another very closely contested team race. I have it separated by just three points, and I come up with St. Marys edging out Oak Hill. I only have Philip Barbour another twelve points back, so they could be a major threat as well. Both St. Marys and Oak Hill have had a couple runners who have had their up and down moments. An up day for the front five of either team may seal the deal. A down day for either team could drop them out of the top two. Philip Barbour isn't quite as deep as the other two, so they have less room for error, but they do have some upward mobility. I show Doddridge coming out on top of the battle for 4th but only by 8 points over Berkeley Springs.

Predicted Boys A-AA Top 25
Will Shaffer sat atop the rankings for much of the season. Andrew Shaffer took over that spot late in the season. Andrew Shaffer was 2nd last season. Will Shaffer was 3rd last season. The two haven't run head-to-head this year, so things are a bit up in the air. I've been more impressed with what Will Shaffer has done, so I'm giving him the nod. Evan Childers has been very solid all season. Bill Feeney has also been very strong from beginning to end. Charlie Drazba has taken a big step forward in the last two meets, winning both the LKC and the Regional Meet, beating Feeney in the process at the Regional. Johnny Hogue has struggled late in the season, but he went through a similar patch last year before finishing 6th in the State Meet. Cameron Davis typically runs well at the State Meet. Wes Stowers has been very strong all season as well and beat Davis at the Coalfield Conference Meet. Jordan Whitehair has also struggled late in the season. He's certainly a top 5 threat. Alec Hinerman was 4th last season and is a threat to move up. It's possible for over 20 of these guys to get in there. Things could end up very tight.
