2011 LKC Middle School Championship Cross Country Meet

 

Doddridge County High School is pleased to host the 2011 Little Kanawha Conference Championship Cross Country Meet at the Doddridge County Park.

 

Date:                     Tuesday, October 4

Schedule:            5:00pm                 Girls’ Race

                                5:30pm                 Boys’ Race

Awards:               Custom LKC medals will be presented to the 1st 20 finishers in each division.

                                The top 10 will make “1st Team All-Conference”.

                                Placers 11-20 will make “2nd Team All-Conference”.

                                Trophies will be presented to the top 2 teams.

Course:                We will run our “Long” Middle School Course which includes “Big Bertha” and the creek

                                crossing.  The total race distance is approximately 2.05 miles.

Entry Fee:           There is no entry fee for this meet.

Directions:          From US Route 50 take the Snowbird Road exit (Doddridge County Park) for 1.2 miles to the park entrance.

 

Miscellaneous:  There will be no separate JV races.  You just run all of your runners together; your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. This year we are accepting entries via www.TimeTo.Enter.com.  That is the preferred method of entry.  We will also accept rosters via Hy-Tek.  E-mail Hy-Tek rosters to Josh Weekley at www.runwv.com.  Entries by any method, including faxes, should be sent by September 30th.  Faxes should be sent to 1-775-655-5335.  If you have questions you may e-mail Craig Kellar at coachcmk@hotmail.com or call him in the evening at 873-1594.  Admission will be charged for spectators at the top of the hill.  See you on October 4th!
