The RITCHIE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY TEAM would like to invite your team to the
 LKC CROSS COUNTRY MEET

 

Date: Thursday, October 13, 2011

Location: Cokeley Camp Ground at North Bend State Park

hosted by RITCHIE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL

 

Races:

 

5:00: High School Girls 5k

5:40: High School Boys 5k

6:30: High School Awards

 

Individual Awards:  

Places 1st – 12th earn 1st Team All Conference
            Medals will be awarded on Race Day.
            All Conference plaques will be given at LKC Banquet in the Spring of 2012


Places 13th – 24th earn 2nd Team All Conference
            Medals will be awarded on Race Day.

Team Awards:

 

1st Place Team: All Conference award to be given at LKC Banquet in Spring of 2012

2nd Place – trophy

3rd Place – trophy

 

Location:   The course is located at the new campground at North Bend State Park on the Harrisville side of the park above the marina.  The course is viewer friendly and almost entirely a grass surface.  We will have exclusive use of the bathhouse facilities at the campground including restrooms and showers.

 

Directions:

 

We STRONGLY recommend using the Ellenboro exit from RT 50 and follow the signs to North Bend.   For teams coming from the Parkersburg direction the Cairo exit will be a very unpleasant trip to the course especially on a bus.  The entrance to the campground is 6.7 miles from US Rt 50 and approximately 1.5 miles from the intersection of Rt 16 & Rt 31 in Harrisville.

 

Meet Information: There will be a general admission fee for spectators. We will have spotters in all areas to help runners, as well as an athletic trainer available. We will be selling meet t-shirts and there will be a concession stand. We will be using computer scoring.

 

Entries: 

 

We will accept unlimited runners for each High School team. However, please know that only the top 7 runners will be used for team scoring.
