2011 Doddridge County Invitational

 

 

Dear Cross-Country Coach,

 

            The Doddridge County High School and Middle School Cross-Country Teams would like to invite you and your teams to the 2011 “Doddridge County Invitational”.   

 

 

When:              Tuesday, September 13

 

Where:             The Doddridge County Park. 

 

Directions:        From US Route 50 take the Snowbird Road exit (Doddridge County Park) for 1.2 miles to the park entrance. 

 

Schedule:          4:30pm             High School Girls          (5K)

                        5:05pm             High School Boys         (5K)

                        5:40pm             Middle School Girls      (3K)

                        6:05pm             Middle School Boys     (3K)

 

Entry Fees:       High School - $35 for each team ($70 for boys & girls)

                        Middle School - $35 for each team ($70 for boys & girls)

                        $6 per runner if you do not have a full team

                        Make checks payable to “DCHS Athletics”.  (See Misc. below)

                       

Awards:           Trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division

                        Trophies for individual placers 1 – 10 in each division

                        Medals for individual placers 11 – 20 in each division

                       

Course:            Two creek crossings and medium rolling hills for HS & MS runners

                        An additional significant hill climb for the high school runners

 

Miscellaneous:  There will be no separate JV races.  You just run all of your runners together; your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. This year we are accepting entries via www.TimeTo.Enter.com.  That is the preferred method of entry.  We will also accept rosters via Hy-Tek.  E-mail Hy-Tek rosters to Josh Weekley at www.runwv.com.  Entries by any method, including faxes, should be sent by September 8th.  Faxes should be sent to 1-775-655-5335.  If you have questions you may e-mail Craig Kellar at coachcmk@hotmail.com or call him in the evening at 873-1594.  Send all entry fees (High School & Middle School) to Greg Bonnell at Doddridge County High School, #1 Bulldog Drive, West Union, WV  26456.  Admission will be charged for spectators at the top of the hill.  See you on September 13th!
