Dear Cross-Country Coach,
Date: Thursday, October 22
Schedule: 4:30pm Girls’ Race
6:00pm Awards
Awards: Medals for the 1st 20 finishers in each division.
WVSSAC Plaque for the team champion in each division.
The top 10 individuals in each race will advance to the state meet.
Teams will advance according to WVSSAC guidelines.
Course: We will run our
regular course at the Apple Valley Country Club (which is located just outside
Miscellaneous:
1) Each school is allowed up to 7 entries for
each race. Please list any alternate
that would possibly run that day. Entry forms are due to Dave Ricer by October 19th. We
will be using a computer scoring system.
A Meet Event File has been placed on www.runwv.com
so you can submit rosters via Hy-Tek or by e-mail (to
wfmsruns@hotmail.com). Using the meet
event file will help us greatly in setting up the meet, but there is
also a WVSSAC entry form for this meet.
It was in your coaches’ packet from the WVSSAC that you received at the
beginning of the season. Please follow
the directions on that form, as well. It
will ask you to send your entries to the WVSSAC and to Frank Moore, AD of
Marion County Schools. Make sure that
your eligibility certificate is up to date and that all of your runners are
listed on it!
2) Admission ($6.00 for adults and $5.00 for students as required by WVSSAC). See you on October 22nd!
