Beaver Run - 2009

The Shady Spring High School Cross Country team will be hosting the fourth annual Beaver Run Invitational on September 26, 2009 at Little Beaver State Park. The course is set on the mountain top at the lake and runs through gravel roads, grassy fields and a short section of pavement. Much of the course is visible to spectators and there are several grassy areas to sit and watch. T-Shirts will be available for purchase as well as concessions.

Times: 9:30 Tour Course- All runners

10:30 Boy’s and Girl’s Middle School Division – Girls start 15

minutes after boys or co-ed if limited number of runners.

(If middle school boy/girl teams run together, they will be scored separately)

11:30 Girl’s High School Varsity Race (unlimited number of runners)(5K)

12:30 Boy’s High School Varsity Race (unlimited number of runners)(5K)

Middle School

Individuals: Plaques to top 10 runners in each gender division

Team Trophies – 1^st Boys/2^nd Boys and 1^st Girsl/2^nd Girls

High School

Individuals: Plaques to top 15 runners in each gender division

Team Trophies – 1^st Boys/2^nd Boys and 1^st Girsl/2^nd Girls

Entry Fee: High Schools: $60.00 per school or $35.00 per high school team. Middle Schools: $40.00 per school or $25.00 per middle school team. Individuals: $8.00 per individuals. Please make Check payable to; Shady Spring High School Cross Country. All entries must be in by September 22. You must pay before race day.

**An open 5k fun run around the course will follow the middle school and high school division races at 1:30 for all non-high or middle school runners from ages 10-100. There will be an entry fee of $10.00 per runner to enter. Awards will be given in age groups. This race supports SSHS Scholarships.
