Cross-Country Coaches Information

 

 

Coaches,

 

John Marshall High School is pleased to announce we are hosting the 2008 Region I AAA Cross-Country meet this year.  We are posting the necessary information for you and also a group mailing will be sent out with this information.

 

Date:               Thursday, October 23, 2008

 

Schedule:        Boy’s               4:30pm

Girl’s                Five minutes after Boys

 

Course:           Grand Vue Park, site of the John Marshall Invitational Meet.

 

Awards:          Team plaques will be provided by the WVSSAC for the two divisions.

                        We are providing medals to the top ten qualifiers in both races.

 

Entry

Information:   The WVSSAC entry forms that you received with your packets at the beginning of the season needs to be completed and sent to the WVSSAC office, we will need a copy of this completed form and a copy of your eligibility form mailed or faxed to us by Friday, October 17th.  Mail or Fax to John Marshall High School, c/o Jim Hudson, 1300 Wheeling Avenue, Glen Dale, WV 26038, fax # 304-843-4419.  We are asking you to send an e-mail of your WVSSAC entries plus alternates to tigerscc@comcast.net for entry on the computer.  This will save time on meet day handling scratches.

 

Other

Information:   There will be a concession stand need the starting area.

                        Region I clothing merchandise will be on sale.  Coaches should receive preorder information soon.

                        WVSSAC requires admission, $6.00 Adults  $5.00 Students
